Cusco - Rock Climbing spot - Cusco
Discover Cusco while you do Rock Climbing Tour
Our instructor will pick you up from your hotel with our van about 8:30am and drive to the crag about 30 minutes outsite of Cusco. Once we arrive to the head of the trail we'll walk around 10 minutes to reach the rock. There your tour guide will provide you the climbing gears which are certificate by UIAA following by the safety speach. Before to start the activity you'll have a intruduction about the gears, rock climbing topics and the safety from your instructor.
Once we are ready, we will start climbing by route for beginners while our instructor is belaying you and telling you where is the next step. We have more than 10 routes in our climbing spot especially for beginners and experienced climbers, we will take our time to climb all the routes as possible. Then we have lunch time enjoying the landscape around this area.
To finish our day, we have a rappel activity (descend 20 meters of wall). Once we finished all the activities, we will back where is our van, then back to Cusco around 3:30pm we'll drop off you at your hotel.

Pre-departure briefing
Once you book the tour with us, you will get a notification about the pre-departure briefing, where you will meet with your climbing high mountain guide and the tour group in our office the night before your Rock-Climbing tour departure. All tour guides of Cusco Climbing are very well trained in First aid. They received training courses every 6 months how to assist to someone who is in an emergency situation. Also, they are trained how to supply a balloon oxygen in the case if someone requires it.

If I never did Rock Climbing Can I jpin the tour?
Yes. Our crag is well recommended for beginners. We will start climbing in top-rope, which is the safest climbing style, and then according to your skill, you can even try more technical routes.
